Established in 1996 and nestled along the Rio Grande River in Eagle Pass, the casino provides 24-hour gaming excitement It features over 3,300 slots, a private poker room, and live bingo. Be smart - plan accordingly and make sure your tank is full and you have water for everyone. Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel, owned and operated by the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas, is the largest casino in Texas. On the highways coming into the area you are traveling through open ranchland and there are stretches where there is no cell service and no stores/gas stations. Cell service is fair (not great) at the casino. It has ample parking and you're not there for the landscaping. It is right on the Texas/Mexico border and the area around it is desert. This is not a Las Vegas casino, but it can hold it's own with the other large Indian casinos. We've eaten at two of the restaurants as well as the food court and our meals have always been good. They have multiple restaurants and a food court. Everything, including the restrooms is kept clean and in good repair.
Note that poker is open morning to night on the weekend but doesn't open until 2 pm on weekdays. They also have a poker room and a bingo room.
They have a very wide range of slot games - the new games and the old classics and lots of machines and they pay off as well as most casinos.
